The Aston Martin DB6 was launched in 1965 and carried on production until 1970. Over that time 1788 cars were built including the standard DB6, the DB6 MKII, Volante, short Chassis Volante and Vantage models in all options. Choice of three speed automatic or the five speed manual gearbox.
This noteworthy Aston Martin DB6 is so original and very well cared for over the three previous careful owners the last being since 1984. Having covered ONLY 22500 documented miles it is supported with a lovely history file dating way back.
Originally supplied to the first owner through the Aston Martin official dealership Sundridge Park Motors in Bromley, Kent in 1968 when the new car price was £3,697.62 (GBP) including TAX.
The car was supplied new in its original livery of Pacific blue exterior paint with black leather trim. It was supplied with a Borg Warner automatic transmission, but was converted to a correct five speed manual gearbox in the cars early life.
Also fitted with power steering from new along with a heater rear window, seat belts, chrome wire wheels and three eared wheel spinners. The Webasto soft sunroof and head rest were fitted after delivery and is still in very good and will sealed today.
The current owner purchased the car in November 1984 and has used it sparingly for high days and holidays, never raced or rallied, always taken care and stored with loving care.
